During [MACRO ZOOM] recording, the focus range is 10 cm (0.33 feet) to infinity,
regardless of the zoom position.
Gradually changes
In [MACRO ZOOM], higher magnification results in lower picture quality.
When zoomed macro is specified, Extra Optical Zoom is disabled.
We recommend using a tripod, [SELFTIMER], or setting [FLASH] to [FORCED
FLASH OFF].
Moving the camera after aligning the focus is likely to result in poorly focused pictures
if subject is close to the camera, due to the margin for focus alignment being severely
reduced.
The resolution outside the area in focus may be lower.
Taking pictures at even closer range [MACRO ZOOM]
To take even larger pictures of the subject, setting to [MACRO ZOOM] enables the
subject to appear even larger than when using [AF MACRO].
