Disc play (continue)
³You cannot select alternative languages with discs that do not contain more than one language. L
³With some discs, you cannot select alternative languages with [AUDIO] or [SUBTITLE]. Try using
the disc’s menu if one is available.
³Subtitles appear only with discs containing them. L
³Subtitles are off. Turn them on. L
³If the soundtrack/subtitle language is not on the disc, the language selected in the Disc menu cannot
be used.
³This feature depends on software availability. Even if a disc has different angles, they may be
recorded for specific scenes only (“” lights up on the changer’s display). L
³While stopped, press and hold ["] and [;] on the changer and then also press and hold [<]
on the changer until “Initialized” disappears from the television. Switch the changer to standby and
on again.
All changer settings will return to the default values.
³If the drawer is opened enough, take out the discs at the front to prevent damage to the changer or
discs, then switch the changer to standby and then back on again.
³Select “On” in “On-Screen Messages”. ^
³Press [3, 4] while the rightmost icon is highlighted to move them down. O
³The picture is normally distorted during these operations.
³Go to the “TV Aspect” menu and change the setting to suit your television. You may also need to
change the screen mode on the television or with the disc’s menus. [–\
³Go to “Menus” in Disc to select the preferred menu language. ^
³This works only for Video CDs with playback control. `

³You inserted a disc the changer cannot play; insert one it can. 3
³The disc is dirty. Wipe it clean.
³Trouble may have occurred. The number depends on the status of the changer. You may be able to
remedy this by pressing [POWER, ê/I] to switch the changer to standby and then back on, or,
alternatively, press [POWER, ê/I] to switch to standby, disconnect the AC power supply cord and
then reconnect it.
If the service number fails to clear, note it and contact a qualified service person.
³You haven’t inserted a disc; insert one.
³You haven’t inserted the disc correctly; insert it correctly.
