Connect a DVD-Audio player with 6-channel
(5.1-channel) output here. When you do this, you
will have to disconnect the changer from the
FRONT terminals.
[B] This connection is necessary if you intend to
record from the changer (á page 34) and to play
audio with high sampling frequencies (á page 25).
[C] If you ever separate the changer from the receiver,
you can connect an active subwoofer here.

Y terminal
The S-video terminal achieves a more vivid picture than the video output terminal
by separating the chrominance (C) and luminance (Y) signals.
(Actual results depend on the television.)
Connection using these terminals outputs the color difference signals (P
B/PR) and
luminance signal (Y) separately in order to achieve high fidelity in reproducing
colors.
³The description of the component video input terminals depends on the television
or monitor (e.g. Y/P
B/PR, Y/B-Y/R-Y, Y/CB/CR). Connect to terminals of the same
color.
³After making this connection, change the black level for a better picture
(á Video—Black Level Control, page 46).
