1 Click the [Server] button.
2 Click the [Mail] tab.
The "Mail" page will be displayed.
3 Configure each setting item.
Refer to "Setup items" mentioned below.
4 Click the [Set] button.
Mail
Configure the settings relating to the alarm mail and the warning mail.
■ Attach alarm image
Select "On" or "Off" (default) to determine whether or
not to attach an image recorded at an event occurrence
to an e-mail to be sent.
Note:
 • Whentheimagecompressionmethodofthecam-
era in the location where an event occurred is
"MPEG-4", the image will not be attached.
 • Evenwhen"On"isselected,theimagewillnotbe
attached when "Off" is selected for the recording
rate of the event recording.
■ SMTP server address
Enter an IP address or a name of the SMTP server to
be used to send e-mails.
Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-) and periods (.).
Note:
 • Toenteraservername,itisnecessarytoselect
"Manual" or "Auto" for "DNS".
■ SMTP port number
Enter a number from 1 - 65535 for the SMTP port num-
ber.
Default: 25
■ POP server address
Enter an IP address or a name of the POP server to be
used to receive e-mails.
Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters including
hyphens (-) and periods (.).

 • Toenteraservername,itisnecessarytoselect
"Manual" or "Auto" for "DNS".
Authentication
■ Type
Select the authentication type to send e-mails from the
following.
None (default)/POP before SMTP/SMTP
