User management
1 Click the [User mng.] button.
2 Click the [Basic] tab.
The "Basic" page of "User mng." will be displayed.
3 Configure each setting item.
Refer to "Setup items" mentioned below.
4 Click the [Set] button.
Configure the settings for the user authentication/host authentication required to access the recorder from PCs.
It is possible to restrict access the recorder from users/hosts (PCs) by registering users and hosts (PCs).
Basic
Determine whether to enable or disable the user authentication and the host authentication.
■ User authentication
Select "On" (default) or "Off" to determine whether to
enable or disable the user authentication.
■ Host authentication
Select "On" or "Off" (default) to determine whether to
enable or disable the host authentication.
It is impossible to select "On" when no host is regis-
tered. Configure the settings on the "Host" page in
advance. (Page 74)
