16.10 Reheating*
If the temperature in the buffer tank is not sufficiently high, a reheat request can be sent to the
boiler via a defined relay.
If the buffer tank temperature is equal or less than the hot water nominal temperature + 3 K, the
relay is switched on. The reheat request is sent to a boiler.
If the buffer tank temperature is equal or higher than the hot water nominal temperature + 8 K,
the relay is switched off. No reheating is required.
*Settings only visible with installer code (see chapter "User code").

17 Installation of the cascade controller
Domestic hot water modules (max. 4) that are connected hydraulically in parallel with each
other are called cascade. The following installation/mounting steps are required to prepare the
modules for the cascade operation.
First connect the domestic hot water modules hydraulically, flush them and fill them
hydraulically.
Then, define which domestic hot water module is called
client
. The term
client
comes from the
ModBus RTU protocol and describes the serial client-server communication. Via the client, the
basic settings are made and also functions are set. Also, the circulation pump is electrically
connected and it is determined which is used for the cascade. The other controllers are called
server 1, server 2 or server 3, depending how many controllers are available. Please note that
the three-way valve for the stratification is exclusively connected electronically to the controller
of the server 1.
We recommend arranging the controllers from left to right in the following order: client, server 1,
server 2, server 3.
