21.2 Stratification of return
The settings for the stratification can only be made and monitored via the client in the cascade
network.
The three-way valve and the external sensor, which is meant to be used for the function, must
be electrically connected to the controller of server 1.
For the selection of the stratification, the relay 2 of server 1 is already pre-set and cannot be
modified.
In the thermostat mode, the temperature can be monitored either via the
T cold water sensor
or
via an
external sensor.
The
T cold water sensor
monitors the cold water sensors of the active
modules. For the parameter
external sensor
, you can select between
server 1
-
sensor 2
(only
for FriwaMini) or
server 1
-
sensor 3
(FriwaMidi / FriwaMaxi / FriwaMega).
In the differential mode, the
server 1
-
sensor 3
is used for measuring the storage tank
temperature and is already pre-set. In order to monitor the temperature in the return line, the
sensor
T cold water cascade
is used for a FriwaMidi / FriwaMaxi / FriwaMega module. For a
FriwaMini module, an
external sensor
can be used for a precise monitoring of the temperature
in the return line. The external sensor can be connected to the input server 1 - sensor 2.
21.3 Comfort function
When the comfort function is activated, the heat exchanger of the standby module is maintained
in the defined temperature range in the flow line. This allows to ensure a faster hot water
preparation in the cascade network. The setting options in the cascade network are identical to
those for a single controller, see chapter 16.4.
21.4 Thermal disinfection
Danger of scalding due to hot water!
If the function is activated, there is the risk of scalding during the defined time window at all
withdrawal points!
Inform user
Make sure to avoid scalding at the installation
This function is also set and monitored via the client. The client transfers the settings to the
controllers of the servers.
