The system capacity is displayed in kilograms equivalent CaCO
3
of hardness removed
before a regeneration is necessary when programmed in metric units mode.
Value is derived from the system’s resin volume input and salt amount input and must
be fine tuned for optimal operation.
Set the estimated capacity, in kg as CaCO
3
, following the following table.

5.4.8 Hardness
Set water hardness to treat at installation site in mg/L as CaCO3. Program the value of inlet
hardness taken away from expected residual hardness. For example, if inlet hardness is 300 mg/L
as CaCO
3
and residual hardness is set to 100 mg/L as CaCO
3
, set 300-100=200 mg/L as CaCO
3
.
