8.5.3 Brine tank and brine well cleaning
CAUTION
Do not pull on the cables.
Release the connectors from controller (1) by pressing on their locking clips.
1. Acceding from behind the softener, disconnect the controller (1).
2. Remove the softener cover (2).
3. Remove the brine tank cover (5).
4. Remove the remaining salt from brine tank (8).
5. Remove the brine well cover (6).
6. Remove the remaining brine from brine well (7).
7. Clean the brine tank (8), the brine well (7) and the salt funnel (3) with water and sponges.
CAUTION
Do not lay down or flip over the softener to empty the brine tank.
8. Using a water vacuum, remove the cleaning waste and remaining water from brine tank (8)
and from brine well (7).
9. Refit the brine well cover (6).
10. Refit the brine tank cover (5).
11. Refit the softener cover (2).
12. Acceding from behind the softener, connect the controller (1), see Evolio 255 controller
connection [

13. Fill the brine tank (8) with salt, see Adding salt [
→
Page60].
14. Close the cover (4).
