8.5.7 Other wear and tear parts
8.5.7.1 Cleaning the air check valve
1. Remove the softener and valve covers, see Covers removal (softener and valve) [

Page62].
2. Dismount the brine hose (5).
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen air check cap screw (2) (2x).
ð Let the 2 screws (2) on the cap (4).
4. Remove the cap (4).
5. Clean the air check ball (3), seat, bowl and o-ring groove (1) using a soft cloth or a soft brush.
6. Check for o-ring (1) and ball (3) integrity before remounting.
CAUTION
Do not over-tighten the screws as it may damage the air check bowl.
7. Reverse above procedure steps to rebuild.
