What does IOT Conn Failure mean on my Pentair FLECK 5800 Control Unit and how to fix it?
If your Pentair Control Unit displays 'IOT Conn Failure', it means the XTRI & IOT Board Communication is not working. To resolve this, remove the data cable, reset the IOT Board using the reset button on top, and then plug the data cable back in.

If your Pentair Control Unit displays 'No Salt Detect', it means that when the chlorine generator is on, it does not read salt from the chlorine generator. This error will clear if salt is added to the brine tank and a manual regeneration is performed.
