3.4 Use limits
The welding machines type UNIVER WM1L/S - WM1L/S-M and WM1L/E, produced by
PERTICI S.p.A. are used for welding of:
profiles of plastic materials, mainly PVC (Polyvinyl chloride).
The machines have been designed and built to be used in covered industrial environments.
Conditions of use:
Ambient temperature range: from 10?C to 40?C.
Humidity up to 90% at a temperature of 20?C.
The maximum dimensions of the heating plate for fusing, in order to work in safety conditions,
are the following:
Height = 257 mm
Length = 315 mm
Thickness = 14 mm
The maximum dimensions of the profiles to be processed in safety conditions are the following:

INTENDED AND STATED BY THE MANUFACTURER IN THIS USER INSTRUCTION

3.4 Standard kits
UNIVER WM1L/S – WM1L/S-M
Welding at 90° and intermediate angles between 40° and 180°
Removable blades for welding seal limitation (as optional heated)
Limitation of standard welding seal thickness (2 mm)
Reduction of 2.5 mm. of the welded profile length for each welded profile side
"Safe touch" safety device on profile clamping kit
Adjustment of fusion pressure
Electronic panel acting as machine-operator interface with the following functions:
- Setting and automatic control of fusion plate temperature
- Setting and automatic control of temperature of heated welding seals (if installed)
- Setting and control of fusion and cooling times
Working cycle controlled by a limit switch and handled electronic controller.
