3.2 Technical features
WM1L/S-M
3.3 Directly functioning components during welding
In order to carry out the welding operation, the welding machines type WM1L/S WM1L/S-M
WM1L/E use the following components:
- An aluminium plate heated by an electrical resistor.
- A set of 4 welding seal limitation blades (which can also be heated only for versions
WM1L/S WM1L/S-M)
3.3.1 Heating plate for fusion
This component is used to heat and fuse the two faces of the profiles to be welded.
The plate thickness is of 14 mm and it is supplied with a 220Vac current. The normal working
temperature ranges between 240° and 260 °C. Take particular care to the electric connections,
which can be damaged because of the continuous movement.
The plate is protected by a film of anti-adherent material (teflon), which has a thickness of
0.125 or 0.15 mm.
This material, as long as it is used, losses its anti-adherent features and the fused profile
material (PVC) starts leaving rests on it. Carry out the cleaning operations following the
