DaytimeRunningLights
OnvehiclesequippedwiththeDaytime
RunningLight(DRL)system,the
lowbeamheadlightsareturnedON
automaticallyatreducedbrightness(to
conserveheadlamplife).
IftheheadlightswitchisturnedOFF ,
theDRLsystemengagesautomatically
aftertheenginestartsandyourelease
theparkingbrake.Iftheheadlight
switchisON,theDRLsystemis
overridden,andheadlightsoperate
normally.

Donotusedaytimerunninglights
(DRL)duringperiodsofdarknessor
reducedvisibility.DonotuseDRLas
asubstituteforheadlightsorother
lightsduringoperationsthatrequire
lightingofyourvehicle.Doingso
couldleadtoaninjuryaccident.
CAUTION
Onvehiclesequippedwithdaytime
runninglights(DRL),thehigh-beam
headlampsgoonautomaticallyat
reducedbrightnessiftheengineis
runningandtheheadlampswitch
isturnedoff.Thedaytimerunning
lightsareturnedoffautomatically
whiletheparkingbrakeisengaged.
Iftheheadlampswitchisturned
on,theDRLsystemisoverridden&
headlampsoperatenormally.
