Purpose
TheLVDmayincreasebatterylife
andpreventunnecessaryjump
startconditionsbyensuringthatan
unattendedloaddoesnotdeplete
thebatterychargetoalevelthatwill
preventyoufromstartingyourvehicle.
Operation
TheLVDwilldisconnectnon-vital
batteryloadswhenbatteryvoltage
dropsbelow12.3Vfor3minutesand
thekeyswitchisintheACCorOFF
position.Duringthelast2minutesthe
LVDwillemitaslowaudiblebeep.30
secondsbeforedisconnectingloads
thealarmwillchangetoafastbeep.
Thebatteryvoltagemustcomeback
upaboveacertainvoltagebeforethe
LVDwillreset.
SeeanauthorizeddealeriftheLVD
failstoreconnectloadsduringnormal
operation.
