glovebox).Afterremovingtherequired
panels,theltercanbepulledfromthe
blowerunitwithoutusinganytools.
ToremovetheHVACaccesspanel:
pullpaneloutfromthebottomto
releasetheclips,thenpivotthepanel
outwardsothetabsatthetopallow
thepaneltodropdown.

Inspectandcleancabairlter
elementevery3-6monthsof
service.Dependingontheoperating
environment,ifairowfromtheair
conditionerandheaterislessefcient
orwindowsfogeasier,youmayneed
toreplacethecabairlter.
Heater
•Checkallheatercontrolsfor
full-rangeoperation.
•Checkhoses,connections,and
heatercoreforconditionand
leaks.
CAUTION
Duringextremecoldweather,donot
blowhotdefrosterairontocoldwind-
shields.Thiscouldcracktheglass.
TurntheairdirectionlevertoDefrost
andadjustthefanspeedaccordingly
whiletheenginewarms.Iftheen-
gineisalreadywarm,movethetem-
peratureselectortoCool,thengrad-
uallyincreasethetemperaturewhen
youseethatthewindshieldisstart-
ingtowarm-up.
