thesuspensionforloosefasteners,
abnormalwear,ordamage.However,
evenwithpropermaintenance,the
servicelifeofleafspringsisaffected
bymanyfactors,suchas:fatigue,
vehiclegrossweight,typeofload,road
conditions,andvehiclespeed.
Checkforcracks,wearmarks,splits,
orotherdefectsonthesurfaceof
thespring.Defectivepartsmustbe
replaced.Becauserepairedsprings
cannotbefullyrestoredtotheiroriginal
servicelife,replacethecomplete
assemblyifcracksorotherdefectsare
detected.
Visuallyinspectshockabsorbersand
rubberbushings.
WheelAlignment
Fordrivingsafetyandcomfort,and
toprolongthelifeofyourvehicle,it
isimportanttohavewheelscorrectly
aligned.Checktirewearfrequently.
Uneventirewearisasignthatthe
wheelsmaybemisaligned.
Ifyouseeunevenwear,takeyour
vehicletoanauthorizeddealerfamiliar
withaligningwheelsonyourvehicle.
