and/oradditionstoyourvehicle’sair
systemtomaintaincompliancewith
FMVSS121.
AirTanks
Toejectmoisturefromtheairsystem
tanks,pullthelinethatisconnectedto
themoistureejectionvalve.Continue
pullinguntiltheaircomesoutfreeof
water.
Daily:Thesupplyandserviceair
tanks,mustbedrainedonadaily
basis.Operateairdevicesdailyto
circulatelubricantswithintheunit.
Periodically:Cleanlterscreens
aheadofthevalvesbyremovingthe
screensandsoakingtheminsolvent.
Blowthemdrywithpressurizedair
beforereinstallingthem.
WARNING!
Ifthesupplyandserviceairtanks
arenotdrainedattherecommended
frequency,watercouldenterthe
airlinesandvalves.Thiscould
causecorrosionorblockage,which
couldcompromisethebrakesystem
safetyandpotentiallycauseanac-
cident.Failuretocomplymayresult
indeath,personalinjury,equipment
orpropertydamage.
CAUTION
Donotusepenetratingoil,brake
uid,orwax-basedoilsintheairsys-
tem.Theseuidsmaycausesevere
damagetoairsystemcomponents.
Maintaintheaircompressorto
preventexcessiveoilbypass.
Replacewornsealsinvalvesand
airmotorsastheyareneeded.
