oftimeneededtocooldowntheinteriorof

alsohelpreduceundesiredoutsideodors
fromreachingtheinteriorofthevehicle.
Thisbuttoncanbeengagedmanuallyin
anynon-defrostmodes.

Youmaynoticechangesinsound
betweenrecirculatedmodeand
otherairowmodes.
TipsforEfcientCooling
Anairconditionercanreducefogbuild
uponthewindshieldbysettingittothe
defrostortheoor/defrostairselection.
Toincreasetheeffectivenessofthe
airconditioner,usetheA/Cbutton
intheONposition,increasetheair
temperaturesettingand/orincrease
thefanspeed.
Ifthecabinbecomeshumidordamp,
usetheairconditionerwiththefan
on,withfreshair(notinrecirculateair
mode)andtheA/CintheONposition
todrythecabinair.
Insituationswheremorecoolingof
thecabisrequired,makesurethe
systemisintherecirculationmode.
Thissettingwillbemoreeffectivethan
usingfreshair.

Theenginemustberunningforthe
heaterandairconditionertogenerate
hotandcoldair.
ToCool
PushtheFresh
Air/RecirculationSwitchtothe
FreshAirmode(Blueindicator
lightoff).Manuallysettingthe
systemtorecirculateairwill
increasetheeffectivenessand
usestheleastamountoffuel.
TurnONtheFanControlDialto
thedesiredfanspeed.
TurnT emperatureDialtoDesiredSetting.
