4.Nowquicklypressthepedalto
disengagetheclutchandmove
thegearshiftlevertothenextgear
speedposition.
5.Releasethepedaltoengagethe
clutch.
"Riding"theClutch
Theclutchisnotafootrest.Donot
drivewithyourfootrestingonthe
clutchpedal.Itwillallowyourclutch
toslip,causingexcessiveheatand
wear—damagecouldresult.
ReleaseBearingWear
Whenyoumustidleyourengineforany
periodoftime,shiftyourtransmission
toNeutralanddisengagetheclutch
(takeyourfootOFFofthepedal).This
helpspreventunnecessarywearto
yourclutchreleasebearing,anditis
lesstiringforyou,too.
ClutchAdjustment

themanufacturer'srecommendations.
