Failuretoadjusttetherbeltsproperly
cancauseexcessivemovementof
theseatinanaccident.Tetherbelts
shouldbeadjustedsothattheyare
tautwhentheseatisinitsmostup-
wardandforwardposition.Failure
tocomplymayresultindeathorper-
sonalinjury.
Oncetheneedforreplacementof
theseatbelthasbeendetermined,
becertainitisonlyreplacedwith
anauthorizedPACCARParts
replacementseatbelt.
Iftheinspectionindicatesthatany
partoftheseatbeltsystemrequires
replacement,theentiresystemmust
bereplaced.Aninstallationguideis
attachedtoeveryreplacementbelt.
Utilizetheproperguideforyourtypeof
seat,andfollowtheinstructionsvery
closely.Itisvitallyimportantthatall
componentsbereinstalledinthesame
positionastheoriginalcomponents
thatwereremovedandthatthe
fastenersbetorquedtospecication.
Thiswillmaintainthedesignintegrity
ofthemountingpointsfortheseatbelt
assembly.Contactyourdealerifyou
