transmissions, the cruise control switches
may be located on the shift control knob.
The left switch pod on the steering wheel
contain buttons for the cruise control.

The switches on the left side of horn pad
manage vehicle speed functions like cruise
control and variable road speed limiter
(option). If the vehicle has adaptive cruise
control (option), predictive cruise control
(option), etc., the toggle switch is also used
to operate that system.
Cruise Control Indicator
This indicator shows the operator which
Cruise Control function is currently enabled
or active. This includes:
Cruise Control
Adaptive Cruise Control (optional)
Predictive Cruise Control (optional)
NOTE
PCC not offered on 1.9m mod-
els.
The indicator will appear white when the
system is on and it will appear green when
the cruise control set speed is active. For
more information see Cruise Control on
page 123.
How to Use Set Cruise Control
Speed When Driving
These instructions DO NOT apply to
Adaptive Cruise Control. While the buttons
are also used to control PTO operations,
these instructions are specifically for
vehicle speed. The vehicle speed must be
greater than 19 mph (30 kph) for PACCAR
powered vehicles or 30 mph (49 kph) for
Cummins powered vehicles and the engine
speed must be over 1,100 rpm for the
cruise set speed to work.
To Set the Cruise Speed
1. Turn the cruise function on by
using the ON/OFF button
The cruise icon will appear in the
display.
