Activate
Breather Valve
1. Make sure the breather valve is activated before
operating.
2. If not activated, pull the transport protection device
up and away from the breather valve before starting
the gearmotor.

NOTICE
Dirt and dust in the environment aect the function of
the breather valve. Possible damage to unit. Inspect the
breather valve function regularly and replace if necessary. In
cases of high dirt and dust load use a breather filter instead
of a breather valve.
Paint can block the breather valve and damage the sealing
lips of the oil seals. Damage to unit. Protect the area by
thoroughly covering the breather valve and sealing lip of
the oil seals with strips prior to re-painting. Remove the
protective strips aer painting.

Oil Level
1. Make sure the oil level corresponds to the mounting
position before operating.
2. If the oil level is too low, open the oil ll plug and
ll to the appropriate level with new oil of the same
type through the oil ll plug. See Section 11 for
additional details.
3. Tighten the oil ll plug.
