3. OVERVIEW
The Philips WelcomeEye Connect 3 videophone consists of an indoor touch-screen monitor and an
outdoor unit with one or more call buttons and a microphone, loudspeaker and camera for viewing
and communicating with the visitor who rings. The intercom panel also features a control output
for controlling the opening of a gate motor drive and another powered output for controlling the
opening of a side gate.
The WelcomeEye Connect 3 scalable videophone comes with an intercom panel and monitor as
standard. It is possible to:
- Add a second intercom panel to control a second access point
- Add a second call button (2-family mode) to the intercom panel(s), for an entrance shared by
2separate homes for example
- Add extra monitors (up to 3 per family, i.e. a maximum of 6 in total)
