Removal
- Loosen and remove the lower retaining bolt of the
right-hand shock absorber at the support arm.
- Loosen the 2 retaining screws between arm and
engine.
- Remove the split pin and safety cover; unscrew
the wheel axle nut; use the rear brake to prevent
the wheel from turning.
- Remove the support arm.
Remove the full muffler assembly.

- Remove the circlip shown in the photograph
- Support the muffler support bracket sufficiently
- Using the special punch, remove the bearing
from its seat as shown in the photograph
