Checking the brake oil level (03_19, 03_20, 03_21)
The front and rear brake fluid tanks are located on the pumps under the small covers
on the handlebar cover.
Proceed as follows:
1. Rest the vehicle on the central support with the handlebars in a central position;
2. Remove the control/display unit for the PICS «A» (for the combined brake pump)
by unscrewing the screws «B»;
3. To check the oil level in the front brake pump, unscrew screw «D» and remove
cover «C» on the right side of the handlebars.
4. Check the fluid level through the relative indication light «E».
The level will go down to a certain extent due to lining wear. If the level is below
minimum, turn to an Authorized Piaggio Service Centre in order to carry out an
accurate inspection of the braking system.
