HUNTER-PRO 32 Intruder Alarm System - Installation Manual

CHAPTER 3:
ARMING &
DISARMING
THE SYSTEM
The system can be armed and disarmed using one of four methods:
Keypad
Remote control or key
Automatically (arming only)
Remotely via telephone
As a rule, the system should be armed ONLY when all zones (but
those on the exit route) are closed and there are no faults (e.g.,
battery, mains, etc.) and/or events (e.g., fire, panic, etc.). It is
possible to arm the system with open zones but these zones should
be bypassed for the system to be armed (see “Arming with Open
Zones” on page 14).
IMPORTANT!
When a zone is bypassed, it will NOT produce an alarm in case an
intruder will be detected at that zone.
The technician should enable the option to auto-bypass open zones
when the system is armed remotely (remote control, key, or via the
phone) or when the system is auto-armed. If not enabled, the
system will not arm with open zones.
IMPORTANT!
When automatic-bypass is enabled, you will have NO indication
when arming the system remotely.
