4.6.8 PoE Alive Check Configuration
The IGS-5225-4UP1T2S/IGS-5225-8P2T2S PoE Switch can be configured to monitor connected PD’s status in real-time via
ping action. Once the PD stops working and without response, IGS-5225-4UP1T2S/IGS-5225-8P2T2S PoE Switch is going to
restart PoE port port power, and bring the PD back to work. It will greatly enhance the reliability and reduces administrator
management burden.
