7. During loading press and hold both “Backward” and
“Forward” buttons together until the message ‘Firmware
update…’ is displayed on the screen.
8. Follow on-screen instructions
9. Wait for the message on the screen: “Please connect
power cable”, then connect USB cable to PocketBook Pro.
10. Wait until you see “Press central Key…” on the
screen.
Note: You can check your Firmware version in Main menu

Note. If the firmware file is located in the device root folder,
then it will have a higher priority in comparison with the file
stored on the SD card during the update process.
Automatic update
To start automatic software updating select Settings >
Maintenance > Software Update.
The device will begin to check available update sources in
the following order:
1. Internal memory;
2. MicroSD card;
3. Internet;
If default Internet connection is not set, the device will ask to
connect to one of available wireless networks.
