2. Tap the contact for whom you want to assign a distinctive ring tone, and
then tap the Edit soft key.
The Edit Contact screen displays.
3. Tap the Ring Type field, and then enter a number corresponding to one
of the ring types available.
4. Tap the Save soft key.
5. Tap to return to the idle screen.
Note
To exit this screen and determine the number associated with a ring type, press the
Menu key twice, and then tap Settings > Basic > Ring Type. Each ring type has a
number associated with it.
