Utilisation
Switching the multimeter on and off
• The multimeter is switched on by moving the function switch

to a me-
asuring function position.
• To switch the multimeter off, move the function switch

back into the
position OFF.
Display for weak battery
Should the battery symbol ( ) be indicated in the lower left corner of the
display

, this indicates that the battery is weak and must be replaced.
Note:
Should both battery symbols

( ) be exhibited in the display, false
measurement results will be given due to feeble battery performance.
Warning!
Replace the battery as soon as the battery symbols
y
( ) or ( )
are indicated, this will avoid both false measurements and the possible
occurrence of an electric shock or an injury.
Caution!
If the device is not to be used for an extended period, the battery must be
removed to avoid potential damage caused by it possibly leaking.
