Measuring continuity
Caution!
Before attachment of the measurement leads, the object being tested must
be de-energised, so as not to damage the device or the object being tested. In
cases of doubt, the freedom from energy must be proved by measurement.

• Connect the measurement prods with the object being tested.
When a continuity is extant resp. with resistances of less 40 Ω, a signal
tone sounds.
Note:
For checking the continuity of your measurement leads , connect the
two measurement prods with each other.
