How to fix a flashing E-stop on Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • A
      Alexandria HenryAug 18, 2025
The E-stop may be flashing on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems due to several reasons: * The E-Stop circuit might be activated because the E-stop is depressed. To resolve this, perform the E-Stop reset sequence: Reset all safety features, pull the E-Stop to the OUT position, press the Green Start Button, and then press the Cycle Reset button on the screen. * The safety photocells might not be aligned. Re-align the photocells with their respective reflectors, and then perform an E-Stop Reset. * The wiring or components in the E-stop circuit may be compromised or have failed. In these cases, refer to the electrical schematic for wiring layout and wire numbers to diagnose and fix the issue.

Why won't the turntable rotate on my Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems?
    • Y
      Yolanda ReidAug 21, 2025
If the turntable or tower on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems isn't rotating, here's what you should check: * Ensure there's no E-Stop condition. The E-Stop button may be flashing, or the Green Start button isn't illuminated. Perform an E-Stop Reset by pulling the E-Stop button out, pressing the Green Start button, and then pressing Cycle Reset on the touchscreen. * Confirm the machine isn't in Cycle Pause. If the Cycle Pause Icon is illuminated on the Run Screen, press Resume to continue wrapping. * A blown fuse could be the culprit. Locate the Table/Tower rotation control fuse, remove it, and check its continuity. Replace it if it's bad. * There may be an open circuit to the motor. Check the wire continuity from the VFD to the Motor, and repair or replace any open wiring.

How to troubleshoot film feed issues on Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems?
    • S
      Sue MeyerAug 23, 2025
If your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems is experiencing a no power feed issue, check the following: * Ensure there is no active E-Stop condition. The E-Stop button should not be flashing, and the green start button should be illuminated. Perform the E-Stop reset sequence if needed: reset all safety features, pull the E-Stop to the OUT position, press the Green Start Button, and press Cycle Reset on the screen. * Confirm the film is correctly threaded by comparing it with the threading diagram on top of the carriage. Re-thread the film carriage if necessary.

Why won't the turntable stop correctly on my Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • R
      Rodney BrownAug 30, 2025
If the turntable or tower on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems isn't stopping in the correct position, it could be due to: * An incorrectly set turntable end of cycle positioning counter value. Refer to the factory default settings value list. * A Slow Down Position for the Tower/Turntable Timer adjusted too high. Refer to the factory default settings value list. * Incorrectly set Table/Tower preset speeds. Refer to the factory default settings value list. * An incorrectly set Table/Tower deceleration value. Refer to the factory default settings value list.

Why does the film break inside the carriage of Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • B
      Barbara SnyderSep 7, 2025
If the film is breaking inside the carriage of your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems, especially between the rubber stretch rollers, it could be due to: * Using the incorrect gauge or type of film for the application. Ensure the film can effectively stretch 280% at ambient temperatures. Remove any film that doesn't comply with the machine's requirements, or change the stretch sprocket on the machine to stretch below the film's fatigue value. * The film being damaged. Inspect the edges and sides of the roll for damage from handling and replace any damaged film with film in good condition.

Why is the film breaking between the roller and load on Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • G
      george86Sep 9, 2025
If the film is breaking between the last aluminum roller and the load on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems, consider these possibilities: * The film tension is set too high. If the film runs through the carriage properly without sharp corners on the load, but still breaks, lower the film tension value on the touchscreen. * Sharp edges on the load are cutting the film. Observe the load to see if the film break starts at a sharp edge. If so, correct the load if possible, reduce the film tension at the touchscreen, change the film type used, or reduce the prestretch ratio.

Why is the film cutter not working on Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • T
      thomas46Sep 12, 2025
If the film cutter is not functioning correctly on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems, consider the following: * The load may not be positioned properly. Check for underhung loads or loads that are not centered on the table or in the proper wrap zone (RT only). The rear side of the load must align with the pallet stop for the clamp, brush, and cutter to function correctly. Re-center the load to the proper position on the table or wrap zone. * A blown fuse may be the cause. Locate the hot wire control fuse, remove it, and check its continuity. Replace it with the correct type if it's bad.

What causes stored values to reset on Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • B
      bjohnsonSep 15, 2025
If the stored values on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems revert to zero or become unusable, it may be due to: * A high voltage spike or voltage brownout below 100 VAC. To resolve this, remove all household extension cords, move the machine to a different power outlet, and have an electrician verify the site power supply.

Why is the turntable jerking on my Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • V
      valerie60Nov 25, 2025
Inconsistent or jerky rotation of the turntable or tower on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems can arise from: * Activation of the Current Limiter in the rotation VFD. Inspect for mechanical binds in the rotation mechanism, such as worn bearings or casters, incorrectly tensioned or worn chains, or alignment problems. Repair or replace any worn parts. * The machine's supply voltage being too low. Check the AC voltage at the On-Off switch terminals while the machine is running under load. If the voltage drops below 115, the supply isn't sufficient. Contact a plant electrician and avoid using household extension cords. * Loose connections in the rotation circuit. After removing power from the machine, examine all connections in the rotation circuit, including the primary supply to ...

What to do if the carriage won't move up or down on Pro Mach Orion CTS Flex Stretchwrapper?
    • E
      Eric StoneNov 27, 2025
If the carriage on your Pro Mach Stretch Wrapping Systems isn't moving up or down, consider these potential causes: * Carriage speeds might be set below 5%. Check the numerical value of the carriage up and down speeds on the touchscreen (password may be required). Increase these speeds to above 5%. * Carriage travel limit strikers could be set improperly. Position the Up Travel limit striker to the highest wrapping requirement within the machine's capability to prevent jams. Position the Bottom travel striker to the lowest wrapping requirement level to avoid false Belt Errors. * A Lift Belt Error (visible obstruction) may have occurred. Check for any physical obstructions in the carriage travel path and any Lift Belt Errors shown on the touchscreen. If there is an obstruction, refer...
