PPP Dial-Up - Most widely used connection type. User name and password must provide for Internet
surfing authentication.
MTU - Maximum Transmit Unit. Some network type may require proper MTU size to work correctly;
DNS Server – Resolves a domain name to IP address, required by almost all network applications;
UPnP - Some application may not work correctly without UPnP, i.e. Skype, MSN, BT downloading
etc.;
IGMP Proxy - Some services may not work correctly without IGMP proxy, i.e. IPTV, multicast
streaming etc.;
Enable Ping Access and WEB Page Access On WAN – Click the checkbox to enable the access
through WAN
Pass-Through - Some protocols may need some help to pass through the NAT.
