10 Trouble Shooting
Fault Indications
Battery Fault
Batteries Disconnected
Batteries over voltage
Batteries under voltage
Supply Fault
No incoming 230V
PSU Temp Fault
Temperature sensor on PSU damaged or missing.
Buzzer Disabled
Check slide switch on rear of the PDP
Outstation Fault (was Handset Fault)
Outstation speaker disconnected
Outstation MIC short circuit.
Device Missing
Outstation no longer communicating with main panel
CCL Core Break
The control loop is open circuit between the two panels reporting the fault
Using log panels you can view where the break is. In this example between panel 1 and 2
CCL Screen Break CHx
The screen cable on the control loop is disconnected between the two panels reporting the fault
OCL Screen Break
The screen cable on the outstation loop is disconnected
OCL Core Break
Open Circuit Fault
Outstation loop open circuit, use log loop to find the open circuit fault. Open circuit will be between the
last ‘R1’ and the next ‘R2’. DO NOT SAVE ANY CHANGES.
