Note:
This feature only lets you decrease your output power; you cannot increase
your output power beyond the maximum the radio allows for your frequency
and data rate.
IP Conguration
The IP Conguration page lets you change the IP parameters, including IP
Address, Subnet Mask, Default Router IP Address, IP Address Assignment Type
(static or dynamic), and default TTL. These settings differ when the unit is in
Routing mode.
To change the IP Conguration, click Congure > Network > IP
Conguration.
Interface Conguration
To congure Ethernet and Wireless interfaces, click Congure > Interfaces.
The Wireless sub-tab lets you congure information such as the Network
Name, Network Secret, and Base Station System Name, as well as the
TPC setting.
VLAN Conguration
VLAN implementation in the Tsunami QuickBridge.11 products includes:
Letting the BSU and SU be used in a VLAN-aware network
Processing IEEE 802.1Q VLAN-tagged packets
Network resources behind the BSU and SU can be assigned to logical groups.
The VLAN Conguration page lets you change VLAN parameters; click
Congure > VLAN.
Security Settings
Proxim highly recommends you change the security settings as soon as
possible. To do so, click Congure > Interfaces > Wireless. The encryption
key is set using the Security tab.
To change the unit’s passwords, click Congure > Management >
Passwords.
