11.3 Exporting and Importing Customers
A customer record can be exported (or backed up) from the Customer Input screen. Select the Drive
and Directory of where to create the exported customer record. Please ensure that there is enough
disk space on the selected device and if using a floppy disk, ensure that it has been formatted.
Press OK to create the backup. The file that is created is called the same as the Customer Reference
number. For example, if the Customer Reference is “20” then the database created will be called “44.mdb”
and is stored in the directory “C:\Program Files\Pyronix UDL Software”.
Customers are imported from the Customer Explorer screen.
Select the file that is to be imported and press OK to import the customer. The customer is imported into the
currently selected group on the Customer Explorer. If a customer already exists with the same Customer
Reference Number, then the customer will not be imported unless an alternative Reference Number is
entered.
