Start-up
1. Remove the cup warming shelf (j).
2. Fill the canister (n) with potable and possibly softened water.
3. Connect the machine to an electrical socket, switch on the machine with the
main switch (k) in the ON position.
4. The machine loads the boiler.
5. Activate dispensing from the coffee group by lifting lever (b): dispense water
from the group to ensure that the circuit is filled correctly.
6. Wait for the machine to reach the operating temperature indicated by the
OLED display (m) and for the hand of the boiler pressure gauge (h) to
indicate a value between 1 Bar and 1.5 Bar.
When using the machine for the first time, allow approx. 0.5 litres
of water to run through the machine while it is hot in order to rinse
the group and activate the coffee delivery.
Filling timeout
If the filling of the boiler lasts longer than 120 seconds, the machine goes into
alarm with an acoustic signal and the message TIMEOUT appears on the display.
In this alarm state the boiler heating does not start.
This condition can occur when the machine is switched on for the first time with
a completely empty boiler.
Switch the machine off and on again to restart.
If the problem persists, make sure there are no water leaks or obstructions in the
hydraulic circuit.
