5.8.1 Foot plate height adjustment
The height of the foot plates is secured with one screw,
(A), on each side.
The height of the foot plates can be adjusted in 15mm
steps. They are secured with two screws:
1. Undo the two screws on the foot plate receiver in
question. (Fig.5.22).
2. Adjust the foot plate to the required height and
secure by tightening the screws.
3. Check, following adjustment, that the foot plates are
fully secured. Also make sure there´s sufficient space
(>25 mm.) between the floor and the footplate at all
time when maneuvering the legrest in/out and when
using the standup function. Perform this test with the
user sitting in the chair loading the footplates.
WARNING!
After adjustment and with the seat in its normal drive
position, make sure there´s sufficient space (>25 mm.)
between the floor and the footplate at all times when
maneuvering the legrest in/out and when using the
standup function. Perform this test with the user sitting
in the chair loading the footplates. Using the chair with
the footplates set too low might result in personal injury
or damage to the wheelchair and its surroundings.
