5.13 Leg Rests
WARNING!
There is an option within the programming of the leg
rest that allows you to send the footrest to the floor to
allow for easier mounting and dismounting for the user.
Be aware that when powered, the area around and
underneath the footplate needs to be clear of all personal
items and bodily extremities to prevent injury or damage
to property, (Fig.5.26).
CAUTION!
Once the leg rest is fully lifted or in its lowest position do
not hold the joystick in its operating position as this could
damage the actuator.
WARNING!
Before changing the leg rest angle ensure that the Front
Knee Fixation is removed.

To remove:
• Grip and squeeze the Red ever on the inside edge of
the front knee fixation assembly.
• Gently lift the assembly up and out of the reciever.
To Refit:
• Grip and squeeze the Red ever on the inside edge of
the front knee fixation assembly.
• Place the lower edge of the square tube into the
reciever.
• Push home and release the lever.
• Ensure the assembly is fixed firmly in place.
To Adjust the Depth:
(Fig.5.29).
• Using a 5.0 mm Alan key, undo the two screws on the
top of the square tube.
• Slide the inner tube to the desired depth.
• Refit the two screws.
