Quicksilver 805PH — System & Component Overview and Operaon
Livewell Operaon
Before operang the system, make sure that the livewell / raw water pickup valve is in the open
posion. The livewell / raw water pickup valve can be accessed through the forward cockpit oor
hatch, on the port side of the bilge.
To ll the livewell, press the switch marked BAITWELL AERATORon the sh staon control panel,
located under the starboard coaming cap. Located on the port side of the livewell, there is a drain
tube which allows excess water to ow overboard, and fresh seawater to connually circulate. To
drain the livewell, simply remove the drain tube.
The ow of water into the livewell can be controlled at the aerator spray head, located on the port
side of the livewell. To increase the ow of water, turn the spray head counterclockwise. To decrease
the ow, turn the spray head clockwise.
Raw Water Washdown Operaon

sprayer. To operate, press the switch marked RAW WATER WASHDOWNon the switch panel

Maintenance
Maintenance of the livewell and raw water washdown system will require you to check the ngs
and hoses to make sure that there are no leaks. Check the in-line strainer aached to the pump and
clean if necessary. If the system does require maintenance, contact your local dealer.
If you are storing the boat during the winter, we recommend you winterize the system.
To Winterize the Livewell & Raw Water Washdown System:
1. Drain the water out of all of the hoses in the livewell / raw water washdown system.
6. Fish Boxes
Your boat has two large sh boxes located on the port and starboard side of the cockpit. Each sh box
has a drain plug that allows for the discharge of water from the compartment. In addion, on the
starboard sh box, there is an oponal electric pump out system that discharges water overboard and
a recirculang water system to keep your catch alive.
Starboard Electric Pumpout Operaon
The discharge pump can be accessed through the starboard a transom storage hatch. To operate,
press the switch marked FISHWELL PUMPOUTon the switch panel located under the starboard
coaming cap.
