Finding a Lost Handset
To locate a misplaced cordless handset, press FLASH/FIND
HANDSET on the base when the phone is in standby. All registered
handsets will beep for 60 seconds, and PAGING appears on the
handset display. To cancel paging, press any key on the found
handset or press FLASH/FIND HANDSET on the base.
If the battery pack is completely drained, the
handset will not beep when paging.
Using Hold, Conference and Transfer
Placing a Call on Hold
1. During a call, press INT’COM/HOLD on the handset or base
to place the caller on hold. The line key (the LINE1 or LINE2
soft key on the handset, or LINE1 or LINE2 on the base) will
ash and the caller will be put on hold.
If you leave a caller on hold for more than ten seconds, the
display screen will read, HOLD.
2. To return to the party on hold:
HANDSET: Press /FLASH or SPEAKER.
BASE: Press or pick up the base corded handset.
To return to the particular caller when both of Line 1 and Line
2 are put on hold, press the corresponding line key:
HANDSET: Press the LINE1 or LINE2 soft key.
BASE: Press LINE1 or LINE2.
You can only place a caller on hold for ve
minutes. Once ve minutes has passed, that
party’s line will be disconnected and the phone
will return to standby.
While a call is on hold, Caller ID and Call Waiting
cannot be received.
