If you set the Inuse Line Setup to OFF, your phone
cannot detect the status of an extension phone
while in use and will not operate correctly.
To change the settings do the following steps:
1. Press the
MENU soft key on the base. Select the GLOBAL
SETUP menu, and then the INUSE LINE SETUP submenu.
2. CHANGE ONLY IF INSTRUCTED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE
appears. Press the OK soft key.
3. Move the cursor to select
or . Press the OK soft key.
4. Move the cursor to select TYPE-A, TYPE-B, or OFF.
Press the OK soft key. You will hear a conrmation tone.
