View BMC system event log
This feature displays the BMC System Event Log (SEL). It shows the total number of entries of
BMC system events.
Table 54 on page 56 lists sensors and related system events.

BIOS item Usage
[Entry Number] To view an event, select an Entry Number and press Enter to display the
information as shown in the screen:
Total Number of Entries
SEL Entry Number
SEL Record ID
SEL Record Type
Timestamp, Generator ID
Event Message Format User
Event Sensor Type
Event Sensor Number
Event Dir Type
Event Data
Clear BMC System Event Log Select OK and press Enter to clear the BMC system log. Select Cancel to keep the
BMC System log. The options are OK and Cancel.

ARNING: Any cleared information is unrecoverable. Make absolutely
sure that you no longer need any data stored in the log before clearing
the BMC Event Log.
