> CAUTION!Scalding hazard! If the unit is in operation, hot steam may surge out of the pan. As long as you
keep the button pressed, the pan lid is automatically opened. When you release the button, the opening of the
pan lid stops.
> The button will be displayed: If you press this button, the pan lid is automatically opened.
> The button starts to flash: . If you press this button, the opening of the pan lid is stopped.

1. Press and hold the button:
> The pan lid is closed automatically.
4.8 Filling the pan using the automatic water filling function
CAUTION
Germ formation in the automatic water filling mechanism
If you do not use the automatic water filling function daily, germs may form in the water line.
1. Clean the automatic water filling mechanism with detergent and a sponge every morning and night.
2. Rinse the automatic water filling mechanism with 3 litres of water every morning and night.
You can fill the pan with water automatically and exactly to the litre using the automatic water refill.
1. Press the button
2. Set the desired water quantity. Observe the maximum fill volumes. Your setting will be applied automatically
after just a few seconds.
> The unit will be filled with the set water quantity. The water quantity still to be filled will be displayed.
> The button starts to flash: If you press this button or the central dial, the automatic water refill will stop.
