1.Checkthatthepowercableconnectoriscorrectlyorientatedandfully
insertedintothedisplayconnectorandlockedinposition.
2.Checkthepowersupplycableandconnectorsforsignsofdamageor
corrosion,andreplaceifnecessary.
3.Withthedisplayturnedon,tryflexingthepowercableneartothe
displayconnectortoseeifthiscausestheunittorestartorlose
power.Replaceifnecessary.
4.Checkthevessel’sbatteryvoltageandtheconditionofthebattery
terminalsandpowersupplycables,ensuringconnectionsaresecure,
cleanandfreefromcorrosion.Replaceifnecessary.
5.Withtheproductunderload,usingamulti-meter,checkforhigh
voltagedropacrossallconnectors/fusesetc,andreplaceif
necessary.
Incorrectpower

Thepowersupplymaybewiredincorrectly ,ensuretheinstallation
instructionshavebeenfollowed.
Productwillnotstartup(restartloop)

Raymarinewebsite.
2.Ondisplayproducts,asalastresort,attempttoperforma‘Power
onReset’.Beawarethatthiswilldeleteallsettings/presetsand
userdata(suchaswaypointsandtracks),andreverttheunitback
tofactorydefaults.

Important:
Beforeperformingapoweronresetensureyouhaveback edupyoursettingsanduserdata
(waypoints,routesandtracks)toamemorycard.
Y oumayalsowanttosaveanycrashlogsthatarestoredonyourMFDtomemorycardfor
futurereference..
1.S witchoffpoweratthebreakertoensurethattheMFDiscompletelypoweredoff,andnotin
Standbymode.Alternatively,removethepowercablefromthedisplay.
2.PoweronyourMFD,andwithinapproximately10seconds,swipeyourfingerfromrighttoleft
(oppositedirectiontopoweringon)acrossthe
Powerbuttonswipearea5times.
Recoveryoptionsaredisplayed.
3.Swipeyourfingerfromrighttolefttwicetohighlight Wipedata/factoryreset.
4.Swipeyourfingerfromlefttorightoncetoaccept.
5.Swipeyourfingerfromrighttoleftoncetohighlight Yes.
6.SwipeyourfingerfromlefttorightoncetorestoreyourMFDtofactorydefaultsettings.
7.When Datawipecompleteisdisplayed,swipeyourfingerfromlefttorighttorestartyourMFD.
