Usethefollowingtabletoidentifyproblemsand
remedialactions.

Noconnectioncanbemadetothescanner.
Ensurethedatacable(ifused)isconnectedatbothendsandisin
goodcondition.
IfusingaWi-Fi(wireless)connectiontothescannerunit,check
thatyouhaveenteredthecorrectWi-FipasscodefortheSSIDthat
matchesyourscanner.BoththeSSIDandWi-Fipasscodeare
providedonthescannerpackaging,andarealsoshownontheserial
numberlabelontheundersideoftheunit.Refertoyourmultifunction
display(MFD)documentationforfurtherinformation.
Ifthescannerunithasshutdown,awakenitbyusingthePowerUp
RadaroptionintheShortcutscreen,accessibleonyourMFDby
momentarilypressingtheMFD’spowerkey.TheRadarunitwillshut
downwithin30minutesifneitherawired(RayNet)connection,nora
wireless(Wi-Fi)connectioncanbemadetoamultifunctiondisplay
unit(MFD).
Ensurepowersupplythermalbreakerhasnottrippedorfusehasnot
blown.Ifnecessary,resetbreakerorreplacefuseONCEONLY .If
breakerkeepstrippingorfusekeepsblowing,contactaRaymarine
authorizeddealerforassistance.
Ensurepowersupplymaintainsthecorrectvoltagewhenthesystem
isswitchedon.
Ensureallproductsinthesystemhavethecorrectsoftware.Referto

softwareupdateprocedureforyourproduct.

(MFD)viaaSeaTalk

•Allrelevantequipmentiscorrectlyconnectedtothenetworkswitch.
•Thenetworkswitchpowersupplyissatisfactory.
•Thenetworkswitchisingoodcondition.
•Networkcablesaresecurelyconnectedandingoodcondition.
Displayedbearingisdifferenttothetruebearing.CarryoutthebearingalignmentproceduredescribedintheMFD
Operationsmanual.
RetainyourWi-Fipasscode
ToconnecttotheRadarusingWi-Fi(wireless),you
willneedtoknowtheunit’sSSID,andPasscode
(password).
BoththeSSIDandPasscodeareprovidedonthe
Radarscannerpackaging,ontheserialnumberlabel
ontheundersideoftheunit,onalabelattached
tothepowercableandonspareserialnumber
labelssuppliedinthebox.Youmaywishtomakea
separatenoteofthisinformation(keptinasecure
location).YoushouldalsokeeptheRadarscanner
packaginginasafeplaceforfuturereference.
