installyourtransduceraftoftheselocationsorinareasofturbulence
createdbythem.
Note:Theillustrationaboveprovidespotentialtransducerlocationsfor
thehulltypesdepicted.Beforeselectingalocation,ensurethatall
locationrequirementshavebeenmet.
•Thetransducershouldbemountedaminimumof380mm(15in)away
fromthepropeller .Forclockwiserotatingpropellers,mountthetransducer
onthestarboardside.Forcounter-clockwise,mountontheportside.On
atwinenginevessel,mountthetransducerclosetothecenterlineorjust
offsetfromthecenterline.
•Themountinglocationmustensurethatthetransducerelementremains
submergedwhenthevesselisplaningandturning.
•Thetransducershouldalsobemountedinalocationwherenoloadwillbe
appliedtothetransducerduringlaunching,lifting,trailering,orstorageof
thevessel.
