4.SlidetheO-ring(arrowed)overtheendoftheconnector,andensure
thatitisseatedsquarelyagainsttheconnectormoulding,adjacentto
thesplit-ring.
5.Slidethelockingcollartowardstheplug-endoftheconnector,rotating
thecollarasnecessarytoensurethatthelugsonthelockingcollar
(labelled‘D’intheillustration)passthroughthechannels(labelled‘E’)
inthesplit-ring.
Thelockingcollarslideseasilytowardstheplug-endoftheconnector,
beforebuttingupagainstthesplit-ringmoulding.
6.Graspthebodyoftheconnectorwithonehand,thenwiththeotherhand,
pullthelockingcollarfirmlytowardstheplug-endoftheconnector.
Asyoupullthelockingcollar,itclicksintoplaceoverthesplit-ring.The
lockingcollarstaysinpositionontheconnector,butrotatesfreely.
5.5Makingconnections
Followthestepsbelowtoconnectthecable(s)toyourproduct.
1.Ensurethatthevessel'spowersupplyisswitchedoff.
2.Ensurethatthedevicebeingconnectedtotheunithasbeeninstalledin
accordancewiththeinstallationinstructionssuppliedwiththatdevice.
3.Ensuringcorrectorientation,pushthecableconnectorfullyontothe
correspondingconnectorontheunit.
4.Turnthelockingcollarclockwisetosecurethecable.

5.6Mountingtheescutcheonplate
Y ourtransducerissuppliedwithanescutcheonplate.
Ifyouhavechosentoroutethetransducercablethroughthetransomor
throughabulkhead,youcanusethesuppliedescutcheonplatetocoverthe
holerequiredtoaccommodatethecable.Theplateisdesignedtofitovera
holeupto25mm(1inch)indiameter.
Afteryouhavethreadedthetransducercablethroughtheholeinthetransom
orbulkhead,attachtheescutcheonplateasshown,takingcarethatthecable
isnottrappedbetweentheescutcheonplateandthemountingsurface.
Note:
Toavoidpossibledamagetothetransducercable,useafiletoround-off
theedgesoftheholethatthecablepassesthrough.
