2.2x14mm(9/16”)wrenchesorsmalladjustablewrenches.
3.Pozi-drivescrewdriver
4.Drillbit(suitableforpilotholes)
Note:Thesizeofthedrillbitrequiredshouldbesuitableforthefixings
screwsandthematerialandthicknessofthemountingsurface .Please
refertothepartssuppliedlistforthefixingscrewsprovided.
5.Marine-gradeneutralcurepolyurethanesealant(non-acetateand
non-siliconebased)
6.25mm(1inch)Holesaw(onlyrequiredifyouareroutingthecable
throughthetransomand/orabulkhead.)
7 .MaskingorAdhesivetape(Usedtofixthemountingtemplatetothe
mountingsurface)
3.5Locationrequirements
Theguidelinesbelowshouldbefollowedwhenselectingalocationforthe
transducer.
Note:
Theinformationbelowisprovidedforguidanceonly
.Optimumtransducer
locationwillbedifferentforeachvessel,anditisrecommendedthatthe
transduceristestedindifferentmountinglocations,toensureoptimum
performance.
Toobtainthebestlocationforyourtransducer,observethetransomwhilst
underwayandinstallintheareawheretheleastamountofturbulence
andaerationoccurs.
ThetransducerisNOTsuitableformountingonvesselswherethetransom
isaftofthepropeller(s).
Thetransducershouldbemountedasclosetothecenterlineaspossible.
However,ifthecenterlineispointed,thetransducershouldbeoffset
fromthecenterline.
